Volume B30.26 includes provisions that apply to theconstruction, installation, operation, inspection, andmaintenance of detachable rigging hardware used forload-handling activities in conjunction with equipmentdescribed in other volumes of the B30 Standard. Thishardware includes shackles, links, rings, swivels, turnbuckles,eyebolts, hoist rings, wire rope clips, wedgesockets, rigging blocks, and load-indicating devices.Detachable hardware used in applications other thanthose detailed in this Volume shall only be used in accordancewith the recommendations of the manufactureror a qualified person.
